Sales Associate

About us

Completedworks is an award-winning jewellery and homeware label based in Marylebone, London. Prioritising recycled and renewable resources, Completedworks’ pieces have been worn by brilliant women from many disciplines including poets, artists, activists, and actors such as Adwoa Aboah, Jodie Comer, Emma Watson and Maya Rudolph, as well as been auctioned in a contemporary designer sale at Christie’s New York. In 2022, Completedworks was nominated for the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund.

We believe that building an important and lasting brand will only be possible with the strength and entrepreneurial spirit of our team and colleagues. In return, we endeavour to create a supportive working environment with a focus on learning, collaboration, development, and individual growth.

About the role

This is a new, pivotal role based at our first flagship retail space at Chiltern Street, Marylebone. The Sales Associate will own the day-to-day running of the shop floor, delivering an elevated, brand-appropriate experience to every client who walks through the door, and acting as the front line of Completedworks' first permanent physical retail presence.

Working pattern: Wednesday to Sunday, 10 - 6pm

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver a warm, knowledgeable and elevated client experience on the shop floor, embodying the Completedworks brand at every interaction.

  • Build strong product knowledge across the collection to advise clients confidently on styling, materials and craftsmanship.

  • Operate the till/POS system accurately, including daily sales reconciliation and reporting.

  • Act as keyholder, managing store opening and closing procedures.

  • Maintain visual merchandising standards on the floor, including stock replenishment and display changeovers, in line with brand guidelines.

  • Welcome and serve walk-in clients on retail trading days, including supporting occasional pre-booked fine jewellery appointments that fall on those days.

  • Handle phone and WhatsApp enquiries from clients, alongside email enquiries managed through the Gorgias platform.

  • Handle after-sales services such as jewellery cleaning and repair request: taking pieces in, logging details accurately and setting clear expectations on turnaround.

  • Nurture client relationships through proactive post-purchase and post-appointment follow-up.

  • Maintain accurate client profiling to support personalised clienteling, including outreach on store events, new releases, and product launches.

  • Maintain accurate floor stock records in collaboration with the Studio Assistant.

  • Contribute to a smooth, collaborative working rhythm with the wider team, who will work from the lower-ground office within the same building.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who is confident, personable and self-motivated, with a genuine passion for the brand and its clients.

  • Previous retail sales experience, ideally within luxury, fashion or jewellery.

  • Keyholder or store-opening/closing experience preferred.

  • Confident, professional client-facing manner suited to a luxury showroom environment.

  • Comfortable working autonomously on the floor, with sound judgement on when to escalate.

  • Experience with, or genuine interest in, clienteling and building lasting client relationships.

  • Basic numeracy for till operation and sales reconciliation.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work a rota across a five-day trading week, including weekends.

Please apply with a CV and cover letter via the application form.
