On Thursday 16th January, Completedworks and BAO London invited guests to celebrate the "Year of the Snake" at Dover Street Market with a special installation and exclusive product in-store.

For the installation, assembled glass and stacked ceramics are piled to capture and mimic the form and physicality of the granite rock formations of Dartmoor, Devon. Employing pieces from Completedworks' homeware collections, each work explores new pathways for an object's expression by imitating the weathering of rock through careful placement and highlighting the drama of proportion and balance. In so doing, entangling the existences of the world of designed objects with that of nature and geological time.

Throughout the evening, BAO London served a selection of Taiwanese small plates including Xiao Chi and BAO Buns alongside Casamigos Tequila who served two bespoke cocktails, The Great Green Snake Paloma and the Hot Man Margarita. DJ set by Danny L Harle. Photography by Jenny Li.
