You will need:



Clay, use self drying clay if you don't have access to a kiln

A cotton canvas to protect your work station and prevent clay sticking to your surface

A rolling pin to roll out your clay

Two wooden guides to help you roll out your clay evenly

Cling film to stop your clay sticking to the surface of your plate or any mould you may be using, we're using biodegradable cling film

A sponge

A kidney tool to smooth and shape your clay (optional)

A clay cutting knife, a butter knife will also work
