The role

Completedworks is looking for a proactive and culturally fluent mandarin-speaking Marketing Assistant Intern for a paid 3 month placement. This role will support the development of our presence in APAC, with a particular focus on China, helping us build meaningful relationships and grow brand awareness across key digital and social platforms.

 



Responsibilities include:

  • Support outreach, communication, and relationship-building with partners, stylists, customers, and communities across Asia, especially the Chinese market

  • Assist in managing and developing brand presence on WeChat and other relevant Chinese platforms

  • Help coordinate gifting, styling requests, and digital look-curation for influencers, stylists, and brand partners

  • Contribute to the development of regional marketing strategies and cultural insights

  • Assist with translations, copy refinement, and communication materials in Mandarin

  • Support day-to-day marketing tasks including content planning, community engagement, and partner correspondence

 

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who:

  • We’re looking for someone  who is fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken) and confident navigating Chinese digital ecosystems

  • Has experience in networking, community building, and cultivating relationships

  • Has an interest or background in personal styling, digital styling, or luxury/fashion communication

  • Understands platforms such as WeChat, Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) or similar

  • Is organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
