Crunched was inspired by a suburban legal battle over the height of a hedge. Its ruffled contours reflect the process of design: one long legal strategy - written on a single sheet of paper - crunched up, abandoned and then turned into a ring.
Collection Narrative:
Suburbs explores the way ideas about the suburbs can be communicated through the form of jewelry. Exploring myth, social history and autobiography, the collection sees the suburbs as a place of both regeneration and decay: where ideas simultaneously evolve and erode.
